Slow Dance Premieres

The Australian leg of Craig Anderson's "Slow Dance" premiere went off in true Aussie form. The first of the two screenings was in Byron bay. With torrential rain all day, the night looked in jeopardy but the heavens held up for a few hours. The 250+ crowd were entertained by a great movie, free Carton Dry and a sausage from the local Boardriders Club. Hoyo and MR introduced the man of the night Craig Anderson who thanked the eager sodden crowd and shed some insights into his life. After a banging night had by all, the crew made there way to tinsel town, Torquay. The Head Office opened up and transformed into a miniature festival where the 350+ crowd enjoyed free flowing beer, flying calamari and multiple fire barrels heating the crisp winters night. The movie was epic and everyone was sitting on the edge of their seats watching Ando thread a 20 second sand churning tube!

Sean Kettle lands New Zealand Surfing Mag Cover

Melting out through the layers of snow that have fallen across the country comes the red hot winter edition of NZ Surf Mag. One peek inside and it becomes obvious that even in the cold months the surf around our coastlines pumps, and while it is nice to head to the tropics at this time of year if you are stuck at home and have some good rubber you can score waves like those featured with barely anyone else around.
