#FijiPro recap

If you didn’t catch the #FijiPro this week, you blew it. Cloudbreak was absolutely firing and the top 34 were owning it. Here’s a quick recap.

In the lead up to the final, the Quiksilver team were on fire. Dane Reynolds took down the World #1 Adriano de Souza in Round 3 with a heat score of 18.34. If you didn't catch it live, watch it now.

Wiggolly Dantas had a Round 4 win earning a place in the quarterfinals and his best result on tour so far. Congrats Wiggolly! Watch the heat here.

Jeremy Flores was on a tear. In Round 4, he scored a 9.93 tube ride and finished with a total heat score of 18.70 defeating Kai Otton and Adam Melling. And in the quarterfinals, Jeremy locked in an 8 and 8.83 ride to knock out teammate and best friend on tour Wiggolly Dantas.

In the semifinals Jeremy took on Owen Wright both finding back-to-back barrels and making it one of the most exciting heats of the event. Unfortunately Jeremy was narrowly beaten with Owen edging in front by a minor 0.36 points. Although just missing out on a finals finish, this is an awesome result for Jeremy who will no doubt take this high into upcoming events.

Finally, credit where credit is due.

Owen Wright made history in the water with two perfect heat scores in both Round 5 and the Final. His two 20 point totals helped him secure a massive event win. A lot of respect and a big congrats to that guy.

Next event is J-Bay, so if you did miss this event and all this was news to you... get your sh#t together and log on July 8. Well done, boys!
