Surfing icons Tom Carroll and Matt Hoy along with former NRL stars Andrew Johns and Mat Rogers, introduced the new range to waiting fans, which represents all 16 NRL teams via their own specific boardshort.

The boardshorts feature designs based around the NRL logos and team colours and are made from Quiksilver's game-changing Diamond Dobby DLX four-way stretch fabric, making them incredibly light, stretchy and rash resistant. 

The NRL greats got amongst the action at Australia's leading surf contest, heading into the surf with Quiksilver's surfing ambassadors to try out the new threads.  Despite the torrential downpour, hundreds of waiting fans were on hand to catch a glimpse of the boys in action.

"The Quiksilver Pro is the ultimate surf contest in Australia, so we're excited to be here for the first day of trials to launch the new Quiksilver NRL Boardshorts," said Tom Carroll.  "Personally, I'm a Quiksilver Pro fan so I guess it's a good thing Johnsy and Mat were here to represent some of the other teams!"
