Thursday 26 February

The WSL Banquet will crown 2014 World Champs Gabriel Medina and Stephanie Gilmore in an evening where the world’s best trade bikinis and boardshorts for suits and heels. Other awards include the heat of the year, breakthrough performers, rookies of the year and junior champions.

Friday 27 February

Trials Day kicks off at 8am at Snapper Rocks where you’ll be able to watch international up and coming athletes and talented locals chasing that one spot in each of the Quiksilver and Roxy Pros.

Come to the opening party of the Coolangatta Boardriders Store. From 5pm til 6pm you can meet the Quiksilver and Roxy team riders and pick up a signed poster and from 6pm ROXY team rider Leanne Curren’s band Betty the Shark will play followed by Brisbane collective Orphan Orphans taking at 8pm.
