The Quik Pro on the Gold Coast kicks off the 2016 WSL World Championship Tour. If you’re going to be standing on the beach at Snapper Rocks watching the event live and wondering what to do once the event wraps for the day, we’re here to help.

Wednesday 9 March

Trials Day kicks off at 8am at Snapper Rocks where you’ll be able to watch international up and coming athletes and talented locals chasing that one spot in each of the Quiksilver and Roxy Pros.

Friday 11 March

Head to the Boardriders Coolangatta to meet the Quiksilver and ROXY team riders from 5pm - 6pm and stick around afterwards for good times and d-floor action with Tropical Zombie.

What else will be on all day, every day?

Drop by the Quiksilver and ROXY tent and chill out on the back deck overlooking Rainbow Bay from 8am til 5pm. There will be a big screen TV with the event live streaming if you want to escape the crowds and sip on a cold drip or organic iced coffee.

Inside the retail tent there will be a selection of Bradley, DHD an Channel Islands boards to touch and feel favoured by our WCT surfers Kanoa Igarashi, Mikey Wright, Leo Fioravanti, Bianca Buitendag and Stephanie Gilmore.

You can even grab a haircut, shave or beard trim with our resident Quiksilver Boardriders barber doing a pop-up station at the tent.

Boardriders Coolangatta

On a lay day head down to the Boardriders Coolangatta to check out the store, hang out at the cafe and listen to the bands on Friday and Saturday nights. Check their Facebook page for details.
