Meet this year's Rip Curl Pro Victorian wildcard, again. Glyndyn Ringrose.

Glyndyn Ringrose was on the World Tour in 1999 and 2000 finishing 9th place at the Rip Curl Pro in 2000, that was also his last year on the tour. Yep, all of 17 years ago, Ringa surfed his last event world tour event at the Pipe masters.

Since then, he has become a father of two young boys and still shapes to this day at Island Surfboards on Phillip Island. So yeah, he will also be the only guy surfing at Bells who mowed the foam under his own feet..

“The last time I was in a World Tour event was 2000 at the Pipe Masters, it’s so awesome to be able to surf again against the best in the world.”

You know the guys that whip the surfers out the back on skis after they catch a wave? Ringa is also one of them- he does it for the #QuikPro on the Gold Coast and also over in Fiji for the WSL events. Pretty sweet life huh, shaping your own boards and racin’ around on jet skis? Goodluck! Ringa!
