Organisers of the Quiksilver In Memory of Eddie Aikau continue to monitor a developing system in the Pacific NorthWest. As of Sunday evening (Hawaii time), the extra large swell scheduled to arrive to the Hawaiian Islands this Wednesday is not currently showing signs of delivering a full day of Eddie-sized swell. To run the Eddie, the event requires a consistent minimum of wave face heights of approximately 40-feet. Organisers will reconvene in the morning to continue to assess latest developments and will update the report then. Aloha.
